January 2026

January invites fresh beginnings — not because everything suddenly changes, but because we pause long enough to notice what God has already been building and what He may be inviting us into next.

As we step into this new year, we’re grateful for the steady growth, answered prayers, and incredible moments of impact we witnessed together. In the updates that follow, you’ll see glimpses of the faithful work that has taken root — and the hopeful groundwork being laid for the months ahead.

Blessingdales

Blessingdales continues to be one of the sweetest pictures of community support at work. Both locations are functioning well, welcoming new shoppers, and providing steady provision for our program.

The Resident Note

Immigrant mother returned safely home before baby’s birth!

Earlier this winter, we faced an unexpected situation that required swift compassion and collective support. An immigrant mother from Micronesia needed to return home before her baby arrived, and we shared an emergency appeal asking our community to help make that possible. Your response was immediate and overflowing. Because of your generosity, she was able to travel safely, reunite with family, and recently welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby. She has expressed deep joy and heartfelt gratitude to The Vine — and to each of you — for helping her return home at such a crucial moment!

Impact Comments

The Living Vine isn’t focused on volume—we’re committed to transformation. Our goal is steady, intentional support that fosters safety, growth, and generational change. Many come through our doors, but not all choose the hard, beautiful work of transformation. We exist to serve those who are ready—to embrace safety, growth, and lasting change. The numbers may be small, but the impact is deep and lasting.
