The Living Vine opened its doors in 1996 as the only Licensed Maternity Home in the state of Georgia to accept women of any child-bearing age. We are a 501 C3. Over the past 27 years we have served over 430 women and their babies.
Our facility can accommodate 6 moms and 6 babies for up to 2 years. We are a program, not a shelter, which gives The Vine the opportunity to transform lives and build a brighter future for the moms and babies we serve.
Our goal is to create a safe nurturing environment where moms can develop skills needed to break cycles and prepare them for a bright future for themselves and their baby.
Our Mission Is To Create A Safe, Nurturing Environment For Women Choosing Life, And Give These Women The Tools To Build A Brighter Future For Themselves And Their Children.
This mission is built on three key pillars:
Protection
We provide a secure refuge, shielding expectant mothers from exploitation and destructive patterns, and giving them space to plan their futures.
Provision
We offer complete care that includes accommodation, prenatal nutrition, medical support, counseling, and more – all free for our residents.
Preparation
Through our “Women of Excellence Program,” we empower residents with life skills, job training, education, financial planning, and other tools to ensure future success.
